『水を掬すれば月手に在り』は、水を掬った手の中に朧月が映った様子を描いた作品です。

私は禅語としてこの言葉を知りましたが、元々は中国の詩人、于良史の漢詩の一節だそうです。
遠くにあると思っていたものが、澄んだ水を掬ったことで掌に映る。

澄んだ心で、在るものに目を向ける
日々の生活の中で、美しさに目を向ける
その心が在れば、全てが見えてくる
そのような想いを込めて描きました。

日本画の絵具の美しさだけでなく、作品に込められたメッセージや想いを感じ取って頂ければ幸いです。

In the work "When you scoop up the water, the moon is in your hand" , the artist depicts the reflection of a hazy moon in a hand that has been scooped up with water.

I know this phrase as a Zen term, but it was originally a line from a Chinese poem by the Chinese poet Yu Liangshi.
What I thought was far away is reflected in my palm as I scoop up the clear water.

With a clear mind, we turn our eyes to what is.
In our daily life, we turn our eyes to beauty.
If you have that heart, you will see everything
I painted this picture with this thought in mind.
